Delano's Eyes

"The wind, which had breezed up a little during the night, was now extremely light and baffling, which the more increased the apparent uncertainty of her movements."

A Poem: "A Penny"

A penny in my path
I stoop to pick it up and see
Abe sternly nod at me

It rests between parked cars
Near glistening black tar
I wouldn't dare disturb its rest - except
Today's my lucky day

Who am I to doubt such divine work?
Abe nodded right at me
I slide it in my pocket
Amongst the keys to various locks
And coins of other kings
